Omigosh! so many! Can't imagine how long did it takes you to do all of those! I'm following you now so we trades idea and crocheting projects ;) I'm still new with crocheting, so any pointer I can get is a lifesaver! Thanks for visiting my blog and the lovely comments! x nattie
The very best pointer I can give is to head on over to Pip's blog "Meet Me At Mikes". It's in my sidebar under Craft Love :) Pip has got several tutorials there and it was where I learnt how to do the granny squares that you see in my picture. Perhaps you might like to join her "Granny A Day" challenge like I did. And besides all the crochet, it's just generally a lovely place to visit.
Wow! You've been hard at work! It's looking great. I love your lunchbox posts too Lillabilly, my kids always end up the same regular lunches though I do try to be creative! I'll be coming back for more inspiration! x
so so pretty! I haven't knitted or crocheted in so long, I'd have to take lessons to get up to speed for the simplest project, so I'm in awe of yours! Suzie
Wow! look at all those squares. They look great. Can't wait to see them all sewn together. I would love to learn how to crochet. I can knit but crochet seems to be beyond me.
Thanks for your comments! This is very basic crochet - I havn't learnt anything else yet beyond the two stitches that granny squares require, although I intend to. I actually find the thought of learning to knit a bit daunting (eek - juggling two needles!) but it's on my to-do list as well. I can't wait til this one's finished either! : )
hi Lillabilly, I just popped on over here from Pip's blog. Your beautiful crochet granny squares are stunning. I look forward to seeing the completed article. Just love those colours.
